Oxford Eagle
03/10/2009

Nautilus Publishing, a custom publishing house specializing in magazines and newspaper for the healthcare, education and legal industries, has relocated its headquarter offices to the Plein Air neighborhood in Taylor. Long headquartered in Oxford, Nautilus publishes such titles as Life 101:The Magazine for College Bound Students, Working Well, The College Bound Family Calendar, Ten Minute Plays from Oxford, Bell on Mississippi Family Law and numerous others.

“We couldn’t be happier to have Nautilus in our new commercial building,” said Plein Air managing partner Campbell McCool. Plein Air completed a 12,000 foot commercial building in the spring of 2008. The downstairs is occupied by retail tenants Emileigh’s Table restaurant and Tin Pan Alley art and antiques. Upstairs has 6,000 feet of office space, 3,000 of which is still available.

“Taylor’s a great place to do business. There’s a lot more business going on here than people realize and with the growth in Lafayette County it’s only going to keep coming. We welcome Nautilus and look forward to others coming here as well” said Taylor mayor Jim Hamilton.
Author and playwright Neil White, III serves as Creative Director & Publisher. Attorney Deborah Bell is President. “The space at Plein Air is very conducive for what we do. It feels like we’re in a Manhattan loft, but you look outside at cottages and pastures” said White.

Plein Air is a traditional neighborhood development focused on the arts and located in downtown Taylor. It offers old-fashioned cottage styled homes, sidewalks and rear loaded parking to encourage interactivity among neighbors. Emileigh’s Table, Tin Pan Alley and several other businesses are located on the Plein Air Square. For information please call 234-3151.
